Yes, we use AI. Most good web studios do by now, and we would rather tell you plainly how than leave you wondering. This is an honest account of what we use it for, what we refuse to use it for, and why.

What we use it for

Building. AI coding tools help us write and refine the code behind your site. They are good at the repetitive parts: setting up page templates, wiring up a contact form, converting a design into clean markup, and making the same change across twenty pages. We describe what we want, the tool drafts it, and we read and shape the result.

Checking. This is where it earns its keep. We use it to look for problems a tired human might miss: images without descriptions, headings out of order, pages that load slowly on a phone, broken links, missing search tags, and layouts that fall apart at an awkward screen width.

Moving content. When we move a site off WordPress, AI helps us carry pages, images and links over accurately instead of copying them by hand.

First drafts. For structure, outlines and rough wording, it gives us something to react to. A blank page is slower than a draft we can fix.

What we never use it for

  • Making things up. No invented testimonials, reviews, statistics, awards or case studies. If it is on your site, it is true and it came from you or from real work.
  • Shipping unchecked work. Nothing goes live that a person has not read, tested and approved, on real phones and real browsers.
  • Replacing the conversation. You talk to us, not a chatbot. The decisions about your design, your message and your price are ours and yours.
  • Putting a chatbot on your site. Your finished website contains no AI at all. It is plain static files, with nothing running behind the scenes and nothing quietly sending your visitors’ data anywhere.

Why we do it

It gives us more time for the work that matters. The slow part of a website was never typing code. It is understanding your business, choosing what to say, and getting the details right. Time saved on the mechanical work goes into those things.

It makes our checks more thorough. We can test more pages, more screen sizes and more edge cases than we could by hand in the same time.

It lets a small studio do good work at a fair price. There are two of us. These tools are part of how we keep prices clear and projects moving without cutting corners.

How we keep it responsible

We treat AI like a very fast junior assistant: helpful, tireless, and occasionally confidently wrong. So we review everything it produces, test the results, and keep a person accountable for every page. We are careful about what goes into these tools, and we keep passwords and private customer information out of them.

What this means for you

  • You still work directly with the two of us, from the first call through launch and support.
  • You own your website and everything we build for it. If you ever leave, we hand it all over.
  • Your site is fast, simple and static, with no AI running on it.
  • If you have questions or concerns about how we work, ask. We are happy to talk it through.
