FAQs

Do we need to know what kind of website we want?

Not at all. Tell us about your organization, your audience, and what you need people to do. We'll help shape a practical plan.

Can we update the website ourselves?

Yes, when that fits your needs. We can build a simple editing area for the kinds of content your staff updates regularly. Or we can take care of updates for you.

Will our website work on phones?

Mobile usability is a core part of our design process. We plan and test layouts for different screen sizes.

Can you redesign our existing website?

Yes. We can review what should be kept, improved, replaced, or retired and plan a transition that makes sense.

Can you move us away from WordPress or another older system?

Often, yes. We'll review your content, existing features, and any integrations before recommending a migration. Some complex features may need to be rebuilt or handled differently.

Do you provide hosting and ongoing support?

Yes. We offer hosting and care arrangements suited to the type of website or system you have. Specific services and support levels are agreed in advance.

Is SEO included in website design?

We build with sound SEO basics such as clear page structure and essential metadata. In-depth keyword research, ongoing optimization, content campaigns, and reporting are separately scoped.

Is Google Business Profile work part of your SEO plans?

No. We offer Google Business Profile assistance as a separate service so you can choose the help you need.

Will you respond to our Google reviews?

No. We can prepare review-request messages, response templates, and guidance, but your team remains responsible for monitoring and replying to customer reviews.

Can you build forms, directories, or custom tools?

Yes. We can create website editing tools and other tailored systems when an off-the-shelf approach doesn't fit your work.

How much does a website cost?

That depends on the size of the project, content, design requirements, and any special functionality. Websites typically start at $1,500, and a typical five-page site takes about three to five weeks. Larger or more complex projects are quoted after a conversation, and you get a fixed price in writing before work begins.

Do we own our website?

We'll explain ownership, access, hosting, domain arrangements, licenses, and any continuing service dependencies in the proposal and agreement. We believe you should know how your website is managed and what happens if your needs change.

Do you work only with local organizations?

No. We're based in New Hampshire and enjoy working locally, but we can collaborate with businesses and nonprofits elsewhere.

What happens after launch?

We'll review training, hosting, support, and future updates with you. Ongoing services are optional unless they're a required part of your project's agreed operating model.
