Migrated Twin Lake Village, an all-inclusive family resort established in 1897, from an aging WordPress site to a fast, fully managed static Astro site with a refreshed, modern design that still honors the resort's classic New England character.
Twin Lake Village is an all-inclusive family resort on Little Lake Sunapee in New London, NH, welcoming guests since 1897. Their old WordPress site no longer reflected the quality of the resort experience guests were booking.
The Challenge
Their WordPress site was dated, slow on mobile, and getting harder to maintain and secure over time. Twin Lake Village needed a site that captured the character of a historic New England resort while giving prospective guests a modern, trustworthy first impression that converts browsing into bookings.
Our Solution & Key Deliverables
WordPress to Static Migration
Rebuilt the entire site on Astro, moving off WordPress entirely to eliminate plugin bloat, security patching, and slow page loads.
Full Visual Redesign
Designed a clean, editorial layout with a refined typographic hero, clear navigation for lodging, activities, rates, and weddings, and a cohesive brand identity befitting the resort's history.
Mobile-First Booking
Rebuilt the guest journey around fast-loading, mobile-friendly pages, since most prospective guests research and book from their phones.
Fully Managed Hosting
Set up and fully manage the site's static infrastructure so the Twin Lake Village team never has to think about updates, backups, or security again.
