Who owns what

Your domain is registered in your name or your business’s name, always. We’ll tell you exactly where (which registrar) and can give you login access anytime you ask. Nothing about your domain is locked to us.

Hosting

Hosting is managed by us as part of your build or care plan, so updates, security, and uptime monitoring happen without you having to think about server maintenance. If you’d rather host elsewhere or already have hosting, we can work with that too, just mention it up front.

Access & handoff

If you ever want to move to a different developer or host, we’ll hand off access cleanly: domain registrar login, hosting credentials, and a copy of your site files. No holdout, no “gotcha” fees for leaving.

What triggers a change or fee

Routine hosting and domain management is included in your plan or original quote. Things that go beyond that, migrating to a brand-new host, transferring a domain between registrars, or untangling a domain that was set up somewhere unusual before we got involved, are scoped and quoted separately, and we’ll tell you that upfront before doing anything.
